8 oz macaroni noodles
2 cups cheddar cheese (grated)
2 cups milk
2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cook macaroni according to package instruction.
Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the flour and stir until you get a smooth paste. Slowly pour in the milk, whisk continuously and cook until the mixture has thickened. Season well with salt and pepper. Stir in the cheese and cook until melted. Then add the cooked macaroni and stir well.
Pour the mixture into a 2qt oven-proof dish and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes.
Serve with a tossed, green salad.
